Clinical Supervision

Reflective, collaborative and ethical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors and psychotherapists.

Supporting your clinical practice, professional development and confidence in a safe, thoughtful and non-judgemental space.

My Approach to Supervision

I believe that effective supervision should be both supportive and appropriately challenging. It provides a confidential space to reflect on clinical work, celebrate successes, explore ethical dilemmas and continue developing as a practitioner throughout your career.

My supervisory style is collaborative, reflective and grounded in curiosity. I aim to create an environment where you feel able to discuss your work openly, knowing that you’ll be met with warmth, professionalism and constructive challenge.

Whether you’re a trainee counsellor developing confidence or an experienced practitioner seeking ongoing professional reflection, supervision should be a place where you feel supported to think deeply about your work and continue growing as a clinician.

Who I Work With

Student & Trainee Counsellors:

Supporting you through training, placement requirements, developing your counselling skills and building confidence in your emerging practice.

Qualified Counsellors:

Reflective supervision to support ethical, thoughtful and effective clinical practice throughout your career.

Private Practice Therapists:

Supervision focused on clinical practice, professional boundaries, risk, ethical decision-making and the particular challenges of working independently.

My Philosophy of Supervision

I see supervision as far more than a requirement of professional practice. It is an opportunity to pause, think, question, and grow. My aim is to create a supervisory relationship where you feel supported to bring both your successes and your uncertainties, knowing they’ll be met with curiosity, respect, and thoughtful challenge. I believe the best supervision enhances not only clinical practice but also confidence, resilience, and professional identity.

What You Can Expect

1: Complimentary Introductory Call

I offer a complimentary phone call where we’ll discuss what your current supervisory situation is, what you’d like to achieve, and whether I’m the right supervisor for you. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.

2: Getting to know your practice

I’ll send my supervision contract to you to read, sign and send back o me. In our first session I’ll get to know about your practice, for example if you have any specialisms or particular areas of interest. We’ll also discuss any clients you want to bring to the session and any concerns you might have.
